Marshall's DINOSAUR Field Trip!

Yesterday was Marshall's class field trip to the Academy of Natural Sciences. The kids were so excited to see all of the dinosaur bones, and I speak for the all of the moms when I say that I was quite impressed as well! Such a fun day, and even more fun to watch the kids interact with each other and ask questions about all of the exhibits.
Nice giant polar bear---this pic is for his Grammy!
There's kind of a big glare on this pic, but they wanted to "walk like a dinosaur'!
He insisted on climbing in the mouth and acting like he was being eaten by the T- Rex!
They were all so attentive with any talk of 'Dinosaurs'!
So glad I got to go with him and his class!
Working with tools and brushing fossils...
Our future Paleontologists! :)
Love that he is 'growling' in this picture!

STUDY BUDDIES!

This was just too cute to pass up! So, Marshall spranged his ankle the other day playing basketball and went in to study on the bed so he could elevate his huge ankle. Lil' Marshall got his favorite book "Goodnight Moon" and climbed up there to join him! ( Notice Lil' Marshall's backpack on top of Marshall's, and Marshall is balancing a diet mountain dew on his head because he said it hurt his foot to lean down and pick it up each time----crazy). I went up there and asked them what they were doing, and Lil' Marshall said: "I'm helping Daddy study since he hurt his foot!" They really are the best of buds! JUST LOVE MY BOYS!

HAPPY EASTER!

First of all, hope you all had a great Easter with family and friends! We dyed eggs on Saturday night, and Marshall even got to take a break from studying to join in the fun while keeping up on his "March Madness" and eating pizza. We had a wonderful Easter Sunday at church and then went to our friend's house to have another egg hunt and Easter dinner. Lil' Marshall got so spoiled with all of the fun things in his two baskets, two egg hunts, and we are very grateful to have such great friends to share holidays with. Thank you to both of our families for the packages you sent! We love everything! (especially the cute baby girl stuff-I can't wait til she is here!) Here are some pics I was able to catch in between all of our festivities for the day: He loved to drop in the eggs and stir them around Sunday Morning with Daddy collecting his findings
Ruth and Me: She is my client and wonderful friend. She and her husband invited us for another Easter egg hunt and dinner, and the week before--I house and 'dog sat' for her while they were in Florida.....it was quite an experience with three dogs who insist on sleeping with you!
Lil Marshall, Rachel, Me, Nevie (scrunched in between), and two neighbor girls: Kayla and Ashley
Me telling the dogs that I didn't have anything else for them!
Marshall would not let go of his gun practically the entire day!

Family Announcement!

We just found out we are having a little girl and couldn't be more excited! We told lil Marshall and he put his hands together and said "I'm so excited! I can help you change her diaper and feed her the bottle!" (what a sweetheart!......and he really will be my little helper.) Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support these last few weeks! We are so lucky to have such an amazing family and friends.

Marshall Plays Soccer!

"Marshall and his friend Jackson"
Today was Marshall's first soccer league. He was so excited to go, and there were over 30 kids running around chasing soccer balls......not to mention about 15 parents running with them, trying to point them in the right direction. Marshall and I got to go watch, and he did really well with kicking the ball into the net. Today was mostly just drills and practice, but we are excited for his first game in a couple of weeks! Good job litttle buddy-mommy and daddy are so proud of you!
