Surprise Lunch and new pics

So I just thought that my mom and I were going to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and then going to do some shopping......but when we got to our table, my friends were there with big smiles on their faces! I was so confused because they had already done a baby shower for me the week before! They are all such great friends and I am so lucky to be here with them! Since babies change and grow so much so fast-----here are some more pics of Savana.
Lemoncello Torte- Kelley's favorite dessert here!:)
My mom has so much fun surprising me because I am so naive
Amber and Heather made me such cute gifts---so fun to have little girl stuff!
Marshall has been so cute to share his room with Savana and he lets me know when she is crying or when she has kicked off her blanket. :)
So fun to have Grammy come stay!
Yes she is a newborn that holds her own pacifier and bottle---so funny!
Worn out from having so many visitors!:)

Welcome Home Savana!

We are so excited to have our baby girl home! Savana Elizabeth Meier was born on Sunday, July 20th but we didn't get released until Thurs. night. For some reason, both of our children like to freak us out and have to stay in the ICN a few extra days! She weighed 6lbs 9oz and was 20.5 inches long. I wasn't due for another couple of weeks, but so glad she came early due to the humidity out here in Philly! We are so excited to have this little beauty and wanted to thank everyone for all of your love and support! (Thanks so much to my mom who was able to change her flight at the last minute and come to help me for a couple of weeks!) I will post some more pics later, but here are a few from the hospital.
Small pic taken on Marsh's phone while she was in the ICN.

4th of July!

So I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Ours was rather rainy and we thought we weren't going to see any fireworks because all of these events kept getting canceled..... until we came home and noticed our neighbor setting up some in the street! Lil Marshall was soooo excited and it was nice to just hang out on our porch and watch his reactions. Marshall was very happy (as you can tell) that I kept asking him to look back and smile for more pictures. We miss our families but we had a great BBQ with friends before all of the rain, and apparently it has rained the last 3 yrs in Philly, so why not keep up the tradition right?
He clapped every time some new fireworks started...and then he would look back at me and tell me to clap and cheer for the fireworks!
He kept asking daddy, "Why do the fireworks keep screaming?"
