So I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Ours was rather rainy and we thought we weren't going to see any fireworks because all of these events kept getting canceled..... until we came home and noticed our neighbor setting up some in the street! Lil Marshall was soooo excited and it was nice to just hang out on our porch and watch his reactions. Marshall was very happy (as you can tell) that I kept asking him to look back and smile for more pictures. We miss our families but we had a great BBQ with friends before all of the rain, and apparently it has rained the last 3 yrs in Philly, so why not keep up the tradition right?
He clapped every time some new fireworks started...and then he would look back at me and tell me to clap and cheer for the fireworks!
He kept asking daddy, "Why do the fireworks keep screaming?"

I think I either didn't know or forgot you were in Philly ... we're actually in Wilmington, DE for the summer so just right around the corner! We were in DC for the 4th, but even down there it was totally rainy too. Glad you at least got some fireworks in!
